Two people arrested for drug trafficking via Bitcoin (BTC)

Yesterday, Whitefield police arrested two people accused of drug trafficking. Officers of the Central department of anti-crime police removed illicit substances worth about 20 million rupees. The two arrested are residents of Jharkhand.

An employee of The Hindu learned from the police that the detainees had been hired by dealers who sold drugs through Darknet. They paid for the commodity in Bitcoin (BTC) and hired the two Hindus who should transfer the drug to regular customers. The defendants rented a house in Whitefield and were regularly rewarded for distributing illicit substances.

The operation to arrest drug traffickers was carried out yesterday. At the same time, in the house were found hashish, marijuana, LSD, ecstasy and other drugs. The police removed the cell phones of the detainees in order to analyze the recordings of conversations or obtain other data. The dealers have not yet been identified, they are hiding.
